Dr. Kirsten Almon
Following her degree in Biology at Dalhousie University, Kirsten Almon attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.Dr. Almon takes into consideration the health of the mind, body and spirit with each patient. She has worked with patients suffering from acute and chronic diseases such as asthma, eczema, allergies, cancer, IBS and other inflammatory bowel conditions, headache, migraines and endocrine disorders. She has special interest in treating patients for fertility as well as during pregnancy and postpartum care. Dr. Almon does attend births (hospital or home) as a professional labour assistant.
Her practice tools include clinical nutrition, homeopathy, acupuncture, herbs and detoxification, intravenous therapy (vitamins, minerals, herbs and Mistletoe/Iscador/Helixor treatments). Dr. Almon also uses NAET which is very effective at eliminating allergies.
Dr. Almon gives regular talks or “evenings of enlightenment” for groups on various topics. Dr. Almon also has led patients and friends on Herb Walks around Mississauga.
