Kids and sleep-Part deux

In my recent blog about sleep I talked about the wonder of ‘hot laundry’.

For those of you who tried it and it worked, Bravo!

For those who need something a little fancier, I’m with you and following up!

So about 1/2 hour before sleep, after the little ones have brushed their teeth, have them line up for ‘spa time‘.

Spa time is all about massage, a specific technique called, squeezing the toothpaste. The kids think it’s hilarious. Their limbs are the tube, and you take your hands and gently squeeze from the tops on down to the hands and toes.

I find that this especially works well for your kinesthetic-type kids who need physical touch to help them ground down.
