Ever wanted to do a detox or cleanse, but don’t know how to start?
Our office does group detox events yearly and would love to have you join!
What to expect?
There will be 3 meetings, 1/week led by our detoxification experts—our Naturopathic Doctors to inform you of what to eat, how you will be feeling and all the benefits that come with doing a cleanse.
100% of our participants our past programs had improved sleep and better energy. Most lost some weight, had clearer thinking and clearer skin.

New Year, New YOU Naturopathic Detox is a supervised 3 week program which includes:
– Initial visit with one of our Mississauga Naturopathic Doctors
– Elimination diet with full menu plan
– 3 hour long group detox meetings led by an EMOH N.D.
– 1 Yoga session during the second week
– Individualized supplement recommendations
– Post-detox N.D. follow up visit

What is a detox?
Detoxification is the body’s natural, ongoing process of neutralizing or eliminating toxins from the body
The New Year New YOU Naturopathic Detox:
– Minimizes the amount of chemicals ingested
– Emphasizes foods and supplements that provide the vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants that the body needs for detoxification

Delicious Detox!
Recipe–Roasted Beet and Carrot with Purple Basil Dressing
- * 1 8 oz chicken roasted
- * 3 beets peeled and roasted with olive oil (on 400 for 30 minutes)
- * 6 peeled carrots
- * handful of purple basil
- * 2 tbsp tahini
- * juice of 1 lime
- * 2 tbsp flax oil
- * 1 tbsp purified water (use more if needs to be thinned)
- * dash sea salt

Why You Need To Detoxify Your Body
Our environment is increasingly contaminated with toxins – in the air we breathe, the food we eat and the water we drink. Pollution puts enormous stress on our body and compromises our immune system. It is little surprise toxins are linked to several serious health conditions and diseases.
Antioxidant molecules aid your body’s ability to neutralize and flush out heavy metals, pesticides and carcinogens, which spear the production of cell-damaging free radicals.
As well as antioxidants, eat lots of fiber; it is important for cleansing your intestinal system of contaminants. As well as specific foods and supplements, you should also include appropriate exercise. Working up a sweat actually pushes out contaminants through your perspiration and exercise also aids the digestive and lymphatic systems to eliminate toxins.
For your own well being, consult your Chiropractor before consuming supplements or starting a detox or exercise program.
