Hope for the Mamas!

Hope for the Mamas!
Castor oil also commonly referred to as Palma Christi (i.e. Palm of Christ) is one of my favourite topical treatments–from sore knees to applying on eyelids for dry eyes, many people have benefitted over the years from this amazing plant.
I’ve had a number of women who have had episiotomies during childbirth. For many this has led to issues with constipation, pain with intercourse and general sense of discomfort. Some women have resigned to the fact that, ‘this is just the way it is and I have to suck it up!’
I’m here to tell you that there is hope!
A wonderful gentle way of addressing this scar tissue is applying castor oil to a piece of organic flannel (reusable flannel pads work well) and wearing this at night while sleeping for a week on a week off for a number of weeks. Be sure to buy castor oil that is in glass and that is organic.
